Cable Construction
Conductor and Insulation
The conductor is made from finely stranded tinned copper wires according to DIN EN / IEC 60228 Class 5. The insulation system includes an inner semi-conductive stress control layer and EPR insulation with improved electrical and mechanical properties.
Screen and Outer Sheath
The cable includes an outer semi-conductive insulation shield and concentric ground conductor. The TPU sheath is flame retardant, halogen-free, oil resistant and suitable for indoor, outdoor, ozone, UV and wet environments.
Technical Specification
Maximum conductor temperature is 90 deg C, with short-circuit conductor temperature up to 200 deg C. The cable may be used in locations fully covered with water and permanently subjected to pressure up to 10 bar, covering AD8 protection conditions.
